super friendly staff, accomodating with english speakers. felt cosy and the blankets outside were a nice touch. prompt and delicious food, very large portions, couldn’t finish it despite how delicious it was. strongly recommend the baked feta!

Taverna Restaurant Mastiha is a great restaurant where every dish is seasoned and cooked to perfection. If you like grilled lamb, this is the place to go in Kreuzberg. The lamb & rosemary potatoes are the perfect combination. Their seafood dishes are also amazingly satisfying. Panos always welcomes me with a smile and a genuine and enthusiastic “welcome to Greece!”, and Anna was one of the friendliest and most helpful waitresses I have ever met. Thank you for the great service, atmosphere, and food.

My visit to Taverna Restaurant Mastiha in Berlin was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the warm and genuine welcome from the Greek staff made us feel right at home. Having lived in Thessaloniki before, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the service here felt just as warm and friendly as it did in Greece. Let's talk about the food, which was nothing short of amazing. To start, we indulged in a selection of appetizers, including succulent anchovies, perfectly grilled feta, and delicious spanakopita, all served with a delightful assortment of salads. If you're a fan of grilled feta, it's a must-try during your aperitivo. For our main course, we decided on the big Thessaloniki platter, and it was a feast for the senses. The meat was cooked to perfection, and for two people, it was more than enough to leave us feeling utterly satisfied and content. The best part? The food wasn't heavy at all, and it paired beautifully with a crisp white wine, ouzo, and mastiha. We're already looking forward to our next visit with friends. Sharing the appetizers and exploring more dishes together sounds like a perfect plan. Our personal conversation with the staff in Greek only added to the authentic experience.
